Any suggestions on how to get my digital speedometer back on my Kia k5?

One day it disappeared and I cannot seem to get it to display again

Seriously? There's a number of reasons why the digital display has failed. You need to take it into a mechanic to get it looked at.

Check the fuses and if they're okay it will either be the sender/sensor or the digital display unit. 

In the latter, scenario the dashboard will have to be removed to gain access so I don't advise tackling it yourself. I don't think it will be cheap to repair.
