Why do singers don't listen to these kind of female singers anymore ?

In the mid 00s colbie caillat and taylor swift made some acoustic, pop music, aimed at romantic, nextdoor type of girls, with airy effects, acoustic melodies and girly, not so strong voices. I am referring to taylors first two country pop albums and colbies 2008 and 2010 album. Why don't people make songs like that anymore? All we hear today in the charts are aggressive songs about ex boyfriends or rivalry, there's no room left for those romantic, beach/fire late summer acoustic songs taylor and colbie used to make.
