In order for all children to understand the curriculum, educators need to provide materials that have pictures to go with both the text and verbal instruction, as some children have difficulty following along.

Teachers need better tools in their curriculum. Visual examples can give students more than words.  An image can help students remember, where sometimes reading words may fail to sync with memory.

Heck yeah.  I spent a lot of time working with policy and procedure manuals.  I take pride in making stuff short and sweet.

“Students may not understand material through lecture alone. Curriculum should also include pictures with verbal directions.  In addition, educators ought to encourage students’ self regulation.”
