put one point at the y-intercept
(0, 3)
Slope is rise/run
For a slope of -2
drop y down 2; from 3 to 1
move x right 1; From 0 to 1
this is point (1, 1)
Draw a line through the two points

y = mx + b; where m is the slope and b is
the y-intercept.
y = -2x + 3
Now solve once with x = 0 and again with y = 0.
You’ll end up with two pairs of points to draw your graph.
