    ∑counterclockwise torque = ∑clockwise torque

    With pivot point at the center of the seesaw

    (35 kg)(1.54 m) = 41 kg)(d)

    d = (35 kg)(1.54 m)/(41 kg)

    d = 1.31 m ← The boy must sit 1.31 m from the centre

    35*1.54=53.9kg m

    53.9/41=1.3146 m                       .
