Ex Employee Deleted all Videos off my Youtube, Legal Recourse?

An ex employee deleted all of our videos on our youtube channel, years of videos gone. Do we have any room for legal recourse?

It has grown into, if you get gypped on the internet, it's your own fault and recourse is not worth the effort. In your case, you can be asked you knew it was possible and you didn't do something to block or protect yourself so you should have known better. Though you always can hire a lawyer keep in mind in court you can file suit against a ham sandwich.

Assuming you have substantial proof you can sue for the value of the material.

The laws vary depending on where you live.  Some states had laws that protect on line content like that.  Others do not.  This is a question to ask your lawyers.

But the odds are that you do have legal recourses.  And probably also have grounds for a monetary law suite against the ex employee.
