What type of makeup would you use to cover 5 o'clock shadow & acne scars?
When I'm clean shaven, you can see where on my face the hair grows and where it doesn't. I would like to wear makeup to cover that up. Also, I have some minor acne scars which I would like to cover while I'm at it.
I know nothing about makeup and don't know what the product(s) I should use is/are called or where to start.

Start with skin care and property shaving.
Exfoliate your skin. Healthy skin will give you a better shave. Good clean skin and lotion before you use make up will help it go on better.
Google it and look on YouTube.

Applying make up is a learning process. How to do it correctly and finding products that work for your skin and skin tone can take some time and practice. Learning to use different concealers and make it look flawless is daunting.
Wet and Wild is very cheap make up and I would not recommend them.

Dermablend cover cream will cover almost anything. Good to cover tattoos, acne, scars.
Once you apply go outside to daylight and snap a selfie and see how it looks. Get a side snap. You don’t want a visible line stopping at your jaw line.

If you're a man, you shouldn't even be considering wearing makeup.
