 But can you still get points for him if he does.the change his.lineup the rest of the season?

That depends on what ESPN decides to do with his qualifying position(s) this week. He'll probably only qualify at QB after last week in which case he will no longer be qualified as a TE. In some leagues, he was already just a QB.

Sounds like you won't get any points in ESPN if he's at TE.  You'll have an illegal lineup.

Can you get points for him if you change your lineup?  Sure, if you play him at QB.
