How long does it take a scratch mark to go away?

My one year old scratched her forehead on a toy a month ago and there is still a red/ pink line on her forehead. Is it going to scar? Or is the forehead a place where it takes longer to heal because its gentle? Anyone had an experience with a scratch on the forehead and when did the line disappear? It gets redder when shes hot or crying
