Should I invest in the airline industry? ?

That would be smart. Buy stock in the two good ones - Delta and Southwest. Both have depressed prices which will go much higher as the new covid vaccines are given. Delta stands at 66% of its 52 week high. Thats a huge opportunity to gain 34%. Most other good stocks have already met or exceeded their 52 week high.. That makes investing in Facebook, Microsoft, Apple and Amazon a bad idea. One exception is AT&T which is a solid company with a 7.5% dividend. AT&T stands at 73% of its 52 week high and target price. That is an easy 27% upside.

I'm not a fan of airlines stock, but this recent downturn I seen a buying opportunity. I would not be buying anymore at these prices

Sure, most airlines are on the brink of bankruptcy. Sounds like a great investment.

One of Warren Buffets big mistakes. Even He said that investing in airlines is like dumping money into a hole.
