How can I return an ink cartridge that will not fit my printer?

Call the store you bought it from.

I really don't think that would be possible if you opened it up. Then it would be classified as used, and the seller would not be able to resell it.

This is assuming that you did take it out of the package.

Depends on where you bought it (a store, Internet marketing, same country or imported) and what the policy on return is.  Did you contact seller?  Can you walk it in, or mail it?
