How can you tell the difference between a male and female leopard frog?

Males have paired vocal sacs that are located just behind their jaws. They inflate their vocal sacs when they call to attract females during the breeding season. It is not easy to see. During the breeding season, they also have dark nuptial pads on the inside of their thumbs. The pads given them a non-slip surface and allows them to hold onto the females during mating.

That should only make a difference to another leopard frog.
