How do I sage my home?

Hi, so I have white sage & palo santo and i want to do a cleansing to just rid any negative vibes and invite positive vibes. I understand you light the sage and use a feather to help you blow. Is there any specific motions I should be doing while walking around the house ? Can I also do it to the cars ? Also, I have palo santo bracelet to keep me protected wherever I go, is that a good idea ? And do I need to bless the bracelet ?
