Why can't I use RT as a source for my paper?
RT is a great and amazing news source that covers a lot of the stories which the mainstream media refuse to touch. Butmy instructor claims that it is a "disinformation outlet."

All media outlets have a bias and political lean . The BBC only pump out what they want you to hear . It is best to take news and information from several outlets .

The Radio Times is best used purely as a guide. It is NOT a newspaper. Your instructor is correct.

RT is put out by the Russian government, so it does have a bias. But I don't know any news source that has no bias this day and age.
I watch RT sometimes, I just keep its bias in mind, as I do with every source.
Maybe it depends on what the topic of your paper is.

OP Anonymous: RT’s original name was “Russia Today”. It is owned by putin, who deliberately televises disinformation on it. Your instructor knows what they are talking about.
