What kind of dish is this?
It says Italy on the bottom
I can’t add more than one photo from my phone
Any idea what it’s made of and around when

It was probably used as a fruit dish displayed in a dining room either on the centre of the table or on the sideboard, It looks like 'bisque' porcelain.

Fruit bowl. Classic shape. And it’s way too big to be a candy dish.

The others are probably right that it is a candy dish, it is probably made of porcelain. Unlikely to be of any great age, probably late 20th century at the earliest.
