Will you fly on the supposedly fixed 737 max?
I will but not for a year or 2 to see if its actually safe

Boeing definitely deserved to be spanked for this one. You never go light on safety features for commercial aircraft to save a few bucks. It is not worth it to destroy the brand name.
My opinion is that the Boeing (with FAA guidance) have repaired the issues regarding the 737 Max. I'd be willing to give it a try (provided it comes with more leg room.)
@oldprof: Come on grandpa! Don't tell me you wouldn't relish a chance to fly a WC-135C over North Korea while flashing the peace sign and eating kimchee. :-)Source(s): Work part-time at an airport.

I'm a retired Naval Aviator...and hell no. You couldn't pay me to fly aboard a B737 Max. The FAA screwed up with the initial certification. Who's to say they haven't screwed up again with this one?
