The CDC makes recommendations based on evidence and not commercials about breathing easier.

The manufacturer must prove that it is better than any other mask which it can't. It might be even less safe because of the gap the frame creates. If it isn't put on right and aligned properly it might create unsafe gaps between your face and the mask.

In order to make a claim that it is better than any other masks the manufacturer must prove that it is and not simply because somebody said they can breath better.

The CDC isn't in the business of endorsing products. The FDA regulates surgical masks and respirators while other masks are not medical grade thus no reason for the CDC to get involved in endorsing specific products.

Why doesn't the CDC recommend the use of mask brackets?

Because they DECREASE the effectiveness of masks.

A mask is supposed to be worn close to your nose and mouth.  That is the ENTIRE point of the mask.  And they cause gaps in the sides of the masks which INCREASE the potential for virus membranes to enter behind your mask.

Have your tried the $2 masks from Target.  They are super comfortable.
