"I Don't Want to play House" by Tammy Wynette, "Ain't It Funny How Time Slips Away" by Willie Nelson, "Fist City" by Loretta Lynn, "Jolene" by Dolly Parton (did you know her first recordings were rather motownish, like "Don't Drop Out"?) "Sleeping Single in a Double Bed" by Barbara Mandrell, "Suspicions" by Eddie Rabbitt and there are so many more. (I don't even particularly LIKE country music, but I know it well, anyway.)

Until yesterday I had totally forgotten about 'The Highwayman' by The Highwaymen. That one is pretty good. I am not really a country person so I can't get much more than that for your list.
