What year honda civics are the best and which are the worst? ?

I had a 05 civic ex for 3 weeks and had nothing but issues with it. Just wondering if those year civics are bad and which years are the best?

Honda doesn't have any bad years. When it comes to used cars, reliability depends almost entirely on how well the vehicle has been maintained and how carefully it has been driven. OBVIOUSLY YOU BOUGHT A CAR THAT WAS VERY POORLY MAINTAINED AND DRIVEN HARD. Learn how to do a better pre-buy evaluation.

Let's pretend a 2005 Honda Civic EX is the best car every made.

If it's maintained by the dealer/competent mechanic and taken care of well for the last 15 years, it will still be in a great car.  But regardless it it's the best car ever made, if it's not taken care of well, it will not remain the best car ever made.

When shopping for a used car:

    - Japanese cars are a good bet

    - Single owner cars that have been maintained at the dealer are likely better cared for.

The more owners the car has, the more likely it has not been taken care of very good.  If you see they take the car to Jiffy Lube or Pep Boys, again, it's unlikely to be taken care of as well.
