Is getting the Xbox One Series X worth it?
I have a 4K TV and I'm sure it is not 120hz. I'm just wondering if it is still worth getting because I would hate to buy a new TV because I bought my current one right after the Xbox One X came out.

i'm personally at least waiting a year to upgrade. i also have a one x and still works great, even on just a HDTV. i would need to get a 4k tv to get all the graphics, but that isn't really a priority for me in the first place. i'll wait as more games come out, more consoles are back in stock, and maybe a good trade in deal for my one x.
for now, i'm happy with what i have and may just get a ps4 instead to start playing their games

no not worth it , a hd tv should do you , after all xbox will only run hd tv , and what tv channel or cable channel send a 4k signal , yet along what dvd player sends 4k signal , just a gimmick .

It's the Xbox Series X, unless you mean the older Xbox One X.
Most games for it will be optimized for 4Kp60, so a 120Hz TV really isn't necessary. Whether or not you think it's worth it depends on how badly you want to play at 4Kp60, where the One X tends to be limited to 4Kp30 or 1080p60.

it's just like apple gimmicks … you don't need to purchase new one … enjoy what you have. it's the foolish schmucks who run out and buy the newest gadgets from apple that placed it on a pedestal.

Personally I would wait until more games come out for the console. But up to you.

I'd recommend waiting about a year or two until you get it, because there are not currently too many launch titles that are different from before.
Usually I suggest for people to wait about a year or two for each and every console that is released, because people need to be able to see if the console is truly worth getting.
