Isn`t there something in our Constitution that can be construed as forbidding elected officials from knowingly lying to the American People?

It`s been a problem for a long, long time, but never anywhere close to where it`s at today.  Aren`t you all sick to death of it?  How do we change it?  This is meant to be a serious question and not a political one.  I`m talking about all elected officials.

Yes the corruption alone of most both Democrats and many Republicans should prevent them from being re elected or elected at all.
