Which should I use on a wasp: hairspray, flying insect killer, or dish soap and hot water?

Which works best? I'm trying to kill a paper wasp that's in my house but I don't necessarily want to get insecticide everywhere unless I really have to, but I'm worried the hairspray or dish soap and water won't work, so I want to know what would be best; it is only one wasp by the way and it's on an object near the wall in the back of my room so I have it in a decent spot but I can't get close enough to it so it's either hairspray (Bed Head), insecticide (hot shot), or dish soap and hot water.

A can of spray paint will work if you do not have a spray can of insecticide. A bucket of boiling hot water is a good third choice.
