675r rattling on idle (Neutral)?

Question

My daytona 675r has a significant rattle sound when idle on neutral. Once i pull the clutch in the sound disappears. Does anyone have any idea what is going on before i take it to a mechanic? Or is that sound normal?.

Motorcycle gears / clutches can rattle a bit in neutral. If the shifting is normal I wouldn't worry about it. Also, it's safer to put the bike in first and hold the clutch in at lights and stop signs so you'll be ready to go. Problem solved.

Has your bike had a dry clutch kit installed?

If so you're hearing clutch rattle, normal for dry clutches.
