Doesn't matter which time zone you're in, the lotteries office have a 'cut off' time for applications for lotteries. This cut off happens no matter where you are. I think you're confusing time zones with time TRAVEL  Like in the movie Time Traveler's Wife, where the guy travelled to the FUTURE and won millions by 'predicting' the lotto numbers.  Stopping crime? Again, only time travel will help you there because no matter what time zone you're in, you won't know about the crime, until it has been reported.

Who said they don't?  People do it all the time, but can't broadcast it for obvious reasons.

Did you hear about that high school explosion in Iowa yesterday?  Of course not.  Because someone stopped it.
