What are the different types of lubricant?

    Lubricant for the car, lubricant for the sewing machine, lubricant for the treadmill, lubricant for the ho-ho at the strip club, and many more but I have no idea what lubricant is used in programming and design.

    There are four types of lubricants; they are as follows: 

    Oil

    Grease

    Penetrating Lubricants

    Dry Lubricants.
