    Suppose you have books : A, B, C, D, E and F

First place has 6 choices to be filled

Second place can be filled by the remaining books in = 5 ways

Third place can be filled by the remaining books in = 4 ways

And Fourth place can be filled by the remaining books in = 3 ways

Since no of ways are inter dependent , total number of ways = 6*5*4*3 = 360

    Hence Answer =  360. ...................... (option b is correct)
