Why are my sisters led strip light remote controlling my leds in another room?

So my sister just got led lights and stuck them to her wall and plugged them in yesterday and then today I put my lights up and now when I turn mine off hers turn on and vice versa. I don’t know how to fix that or why it’s doing that. Any suggestions?

It's just cheap low-quality control electronics, where every kit uses the same remote frequency and coding, rather than each having a unique ID.

All you can do is get a different make with a different style controller and hope the internal electronics are different.

    Technology just does that sometimes.
