What are the earliest reports of people dying their hair unnatural colors? Such as purple, pink, blue and green.

Where did they originate?


And where was the dye obtained or what was used ?

    In 1913–1914, just before World War I, there was a vogue for dyed brightly coloured hair in exotic shades such as blue, violet or emerald. This started in Paris and then spread to other cities such as London.

    Black people dying their hair blonde is also an  " un-natural color".
