How can I remove the knob from the door which has an invisible screw?

    If you look closely at the doorknob you will see a slot with a spring loaded latch in it that is located on the smallest part of the doorknob normally inside the room. Look closely and you will find it. You must push in that latch with a flat blade screwdriver. As you push it in pull on the handle to remove it. Can be difficult at times but keep at it until the knob comes off. Be sure the door is not shut or you will be locked In the room. Now if you look at the round plate behind the door knob you will see a slot. With a flat bladed screwdriver prize that plate off by sticking the screwdriver in the slot and twisting it. You will now see two screws. Remove those screws and the door knob will come off.

    There is normally a small grub screw in narrow part of the handle. It may also be underneath.

    There is no such thing as an invisible screw. Is there a set screw?? a picture would help
