You can Buy shares from another person its like selling a car or land. issue with this is the brokers will charge a Transaction/transfer fee. It may be better to rent or gift and lump some amount of shares and risk the stocks crashing or inflating after settlement.Source(s): Webull and Robin hood app. User

Do not buy anyone's shares directly. Use a broker or buy from the company direct. They need a record of the transaction for tax purposes.
FWIW, you don't know if they are even real or have already been cashed in.
