Optimum overcharges $35 broadcast fee when I only contract internet with them. Can I avoid the fee if I tell them or they overcharge anyway?

I dumped cable one for that very reason, I was getting charged for TV and phone but only contracted internet.

Gone with Affinity and so fare, great. less than half the cost.

No, they charge you less for it when you bundle the services. You can call and find out, but don't hold your breath.

Read your service contract. No one here has seen it, so all we can do is *guess*.

Consider getting a different service provider. Compare prices and service before you sign a new contract.
