Donald Trump thinks it could kill a hurricane.

Source(s): Unfortunately, he hasn't considered the nuclear fallout distribution. Trump doesn't think, he only reacts. Give him another term and he'll be suggesting we inject hurricanes with bleach.

Depending on the size, and where it is detonated, it could do no measurable damage, or destroy the power grid for an entire continent while directly killing several million people before radiation is even an issue.

Depends on the size.  A 20 kiloton warhead won't do nearly as much damage as a 1 megaton warhead.

Depends on the size,  height of detonation,  terrain under it,   near a city or not.     If you figure a one megaton bomb going off 1000 feet above New York City it would probably kill a million people.     If it goes off in Nevada no one would notice.
