Covid19 death rate stands at 2.7 percent and going down, so why the shutdown ?

    Yesterday, 10-26, there were 80,000 cases reported, and a total of 492,026 cases in the last 7 days, so it's not going down as you say.  Deaths:Provisional counts are not final and are subject to change. Counts from previous weeks are continually revised as more records are received and processed. So your "percentage rate" may not be accurate.

    In the UK the death rate stands at 0.06% and the whole of the North of England has been effectively locked down. It is ridiculous.
