    acceleration a = (Vf-Vi)/t = (100-50)/3 = 50/3 m/sec^2

    computation of distance d :

    d = (Vi+Vf)*t/2 = 150*3/2 = 225 m

    d = (Vf^2-Vi^2)/2a = (10,000-2,500)*3/100 = 75*3 = 225 m

    d = Vi*t+a/2*t^2 = 50*3+50/6*3^2 = 150+50*1.5 = 150+75 = 225 m

    Easiest is

    d = Vavg * t = ½ * (50+100)m/s * 3s = 225 m

    Hope this helps!
