Is this sentence grammatically correct?

She loved the sauce served with the steak, which tasted like nothing she had ever had.

    It is confusing whether it is the steak or the sauce that the 'which' refers to.

    I would write "....with the steak.  The sauce tasted...."

    Mostly good but:  "....like nothing she had ever had before".  You could use 'previously' rather than 'before' but it would sound too formal.
