How do you classify the US military, army, navy, marine, air force, coast guard, etc as one?

What do you call all of these all together?

All the Forces combined is simply  The Armed Forces.

We're all packing heat of some kind or another.

They are called the Armed Forces but I've always just called all of them joint as 'The Army'. I know that is a vague term and the army is only one segment of the Armed Forces. It just makes it easier.
