    = 2r^2 - 18r + 30

    = 2(r^2 - 9r + 15)

    = 2 (r - 9) r + 30

    = r (2 r - 18) + 30

    Roots:

    r = 9/2 - sqrt(21)/2

    r = 9/2 + sqrt(21)/2

    First, set Q(r) = 0:

    2r^2 - 16r + 30 = 0  Divide by 2:

    r^2 - 8r + 15 = 0. Factor:

    (r - 3)(r - 5) = 0

    So r = 3, and r = 5
