Why Christians say God is three persons in one. Jesus said: The first of all the commandments is Hear, O Israel, the Lord God is ONE Lord?
Why Christians believe God is Trinity, don't they believe Jesus?
@ David at your Service. The Jews said to Jesus you are not yet fifty years old and have you seen Abraham? The question was about Jesus age. "Before Abraham was, I am" is the vernacular spoken in 1611 England. in today's English it would be translated I am before Abraham.
John that wrote John 8:58 is the same John that said: " In this was manifested the love of God towards us, because that God ((SENT)) his ((ONLY BEGOTTEN)) Son into the world, that we might live through him". Now, we all know that nothing can be SENT unless it already exits. Therefore, God's ONLY BEGOTTEN Son already existed before he was sent.

THERE IS NO TRINITY AND YHVH GOD IS ONE.
GOD IS THE FATHER, YESHUA IS THE SON OF GOD AND THE SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
IT IS VERY SIMPLE AND IT IS NOT THE METHODIST LITTLE DITTY "God in 3 persons blessed trinity"
HEAR O ISRAEL, THE LORD OUR GOD IS ONE GOD.

They get confused with the old Three Musketeers candy bar. It used to have indentations to break it into three pieces. 😁

"Trinity" is not a Bible word. But "divine nature", "Godhead", and "deity" ARE Bible words. You got a problem with that?

Jesus referred to himself as the Great I AM (Jn 8:58; ref Ex 3:14).

Thats not the only verse in the Bible kiddo.
1 John 5:7 KJV — For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
The Word is Jesus Christ
Revelation 19:13 KJV — And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

For one thing, there are many inaccuracies in the Bible due to the early church decimating and misinterpreting large amounts. Also much wisdom, of course!
You could say that there are three main aspects of God: father, son and holy ghost/spirit. Or father, mother, son. However, as John says so very eloquently in the Apocryphon of John, God is beyond man's ability to describe Him/Her.

Why do people not understand such a simple concept and the way BAD Christian sects and cults are so against it?!
God the father - THE ONLY GOD!!!!!!!
The SON OF GOD - JESUS and NOT god.
The Holy Ghost - the SPIRIT of GOD - therefore it is of God not a different God!
