flying from L.A. to Manila on a Philippine Airlines Airbus A340...?
what are the chances of survival considering the unsafety issues of that aircraft??

So long as it's not a MAX 8, you're chances are at least as good as average.

You should worry more on the weather, skill of the flight crew, and the government police tactics than the survivability of the aircraft.

There is no way to calculate the 'chances of survival'.

In your own case, 0%, since you are obviously stupidly going to take the wrong door going to the toilet.

You’re obsessed with posting all these stupid Airbus safety questions.
Others may decide that you’re a troll, but that’s their choice. I wouldn’t call you that as it breaches Y!A rules.
In all practical terms, Airbus are as safe as Boeing and vice-versa. Even with manufacturers with poor safety records like Sukhoi and Tupolev, you’re vastly more likely to die in accidents on the way to or from the airports.

99.999%. It's less risky than driving a car from LA to Disneyland.

If the plane doesn't crash - good. If the plane crashes - bad.
