Depends on what they are being raised for and how good the Mother is.

I've had quite a few litters and most I had to do very little other than feed mum and keep her bedding clean. Some I had to help Mum nurse and encourage her to eat and clean her babies. I adopted these rabbit all ready pregnant and some would just give birth and the cage would be spotless. Others kicked up a right fuss, stamping all night long, running from side of the cage to the other, panting - in the morning the cage would look like the first scene of saving private ryan.

For the first few weeks I just let Mum do the work. Once their eyes opened I started handling them a little each day. Once they are moving around be sure to give Mum some where to go to get away from them or else they'll constantly pester her.
