How much walking should I do ?

I was thinking a minimum of 30-45 minutes and a maximum of 5-9 hours

What would you recommend? 

My goal is to lose weight and train my feet muscles so that I can one day walk around in heels

    I try to walk about one hour a day, if the weather permits.  That makes me feel health and strong.  Also, it uses up about 300 Calories each hour.
