What will happen to the child if the custodial mom dies while the dad is in the military?

Will he have to leave the military and fly down to get his child?

You have been told HUNDREDS of times. The father being in the military is legally IRRELEVANT. There are actually MILLIONS of parents in the military.

    He can get custody.

He can send a JAG officer in his place to represent him.

He can assign WHOMEVER HE WANTS to take temporary custody until he can get family housing
