A fully socialist economy means that all major business and industry sectors are state owned monopolies.  Monopolies are bad for most while benefitting just a few. Under socialism there is no incentive to break up the monopolies.

******* non-sense. You know JFK supported Universal Healthcare right? And he wasnt even far left, he was moderate.

This is what dissapoints me about you people. Anything that inherently benifits people, you automatically assume its bad because other countrys have it. Its an ignorant way of thinking and its a reason why the pandemic hit the US as hard as it did.

Define socialism. Unfortunately, too many propagandists for the old capitalist structures point to authoritarians as typical of "socialism" but somehow when the authoritarians are capitalists, that is ignored or dismissed as an outlier.

The socialisms of the 21st century will be in large part about worker ownership and the democratization of capital.

Spoken like a true hayseed who has read no books and has studied nothing and gets all his information from drinking beer with other ignorant uneducated rednecks who also know absolutely nothing but regurgitate what their Leaders tell them to believe. Switzerland's the best example of the extremely wealthy Socialist countries with Germany running a close second. Socialist countries like Norway have been so wealthy during some years that they even suspended paying taxes during those years. Something about the four day work week and the five weeks of paid vacation and the absolutely free health care you missed in knowing nothing, characterise the successful economies of Western Europe. But you have to shiit in your hat and put it on your empty head and crush your beer can on your forehead because you are a stupid hillbilly. You barely speak English where Europeans like the Swiss and Germans learn several languages including better English than you poor Americans. The fact that you glory in ignorance and mistakenly believe that you know everything would serve as a clue if you had any sense, which you don't. You are the glad fools and stooges of the Leaders who tell you that you would rather pay enormous medical bills than have absolutely free universal healthcare because why you are all capitalists by golly and take pride in paying your own way and pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and other tired phrases from the old cowboy movies they use to brainwash you, while you make real actual Capitalists rich by paying out your wazoo for their pharmaceuticals. You will buy any line of malarkey being sold by anybody who can spit and talk just as stupid as you do. And you can't even name the wealthy Socialist countries of Western Europe. Your half-asssed barely educated preacher has told you from the pulpit on a Sunday morning that Socialist is the same as Communist which is Russia which even it isn't anymore and Russia is all poor and broken up now because of Putin. Even China which is Communist is richer than you are. Your passports don't even get you into other countries anymore which you don't know because you never took overseas vacations like rich European Socialists. You let others, like Trump, do all your thinking for you. Considering how ignorant as dirt you are that's probably just the way it should stay.

I don’t know but judging by your command of the English language I’d say you probably

If you reward something like hard work, you get more of it.  If you punish hard work then the person who is making the rational decision is the person who works only enough to get by and bumble through life.
