Monroe front Strut assembly, Just wondering about the boots on the struts, The bottom dont have any hose clamp?

Do I need to put some hose clamp or it is made that way... I am thinking the boots should be sealed, thanks in advance

The boots should not be clamped a the tottom.

Those don't get sealed or clamped. They just are supposed to hang down like pants legs. Otherwise, they would tear up in a few weeks.

Monroe Quick Struts come ready to bolt on. I've never put clamps on the strut boots. The strut boots are more of a splash guard and I wouldn't clamp them. They'd likely rip if you do that.

I would just use a large cable tie. Easily applied and durable.
