Im at a airbnb and received a message from amazon saying they have a package for me and asked the apartment number?!?

So for some odd reason they have the building number, but i didn't order anything and haven't changed the adress on my amazon. Just staying here for 1 week. The message is from a random mobile number, how do they know the building number?! I'm freaking out! Should i call the cops?

SCAM. Amazon NEVER sends you a message asking for such information. The official term is phishing.

I understand, but how do they know the adress of the airbnb? Didn't put it anywhere. Tracking the phone gps?!

  • It's a scam.  Replying to the text calls a premium number that costs you a fortune and makes the scammer loads of money.

If you didn't order anything then Amazon does not have a package for you.
