We had a 60" wide by 22" high "piano" window installed w/rain glass. What do you recommend for a window covering to cut down on light entry?

It's on a South wall and gets the direct sun which brings just a wee bit too much light into the room

Mini blinds give great control of light direction and privacy.

I like that I can slant them up or down, have them straight out open, close them fully or lift the whole shebang out of the window.

Narrow Venetian Blinds , or solar window film if you want to keep it unfussy.

Traditionally piano windows were often fitted with stained glass which would be another option if you wanted to go full Frank Lloyd Wright.
