Because there is only about 6 million people in Singapore and the culture is totally different. Don't go over there and mess with the police. They don't fool around. None of this liberal policy of pandering to every whining minority group either. (75% Chinese)

Because the United States is not Singapore.

largely because like most countries with Universal Health Care, Singapore enforces laws and cultural standards a good number of Americans simply wouldn't tolerate...

Because the USA has the best system of health care money can buy.  This means that if you cannot buy care, you die. Too much money has been spent purchasing the president and congress to maintain this system, and it will not easily be overcome. More is the pity.

Because billionaires run the USA. They bribe corrupt politicians who make laws to further enrich their overlords.

The United States constitution does not mention supervisor classless control over the People's healthcare as a federal responsibility...The American constitution...It's the LAW.

Source(s): Not that the party of lawlessness cares about the LAW. Notice before Democrat federal tampering the US was # 1 in price/quality worldwide. After 55 years of Democrat tampering we are now in the mid 30s - and health care is almost as expensive as the Euro commies.
