Why is it hard to find the origin of the coronavirus, compared to other viruses like SARS and MERS?

Since long ago it was already taken into theory that this virus jumped from bats and then spread to humans. Despite this, we still have no conclusive evidence against it after 9 months.

What is the thing that is making it challenging to develop a good understanding of this virus and find out its origin?
