What are the benefits of war?

--  Large profits for the arms manufacturers and their owners. Also, it creates jobs.

--  Gaining access to oil and other natural resources in the country overrun.

--  Installing right wing military dictatorships that are subservient to American interests.

A boost to the US economy.  We are one of the largest suppliers of military equipment and supplies in the world.  If we do not use it, we do not need to replenish.  It is a "make work" programs akin to subsidizing this industry to keep it viable.  If our suppliers do not keep being profitable, then they will not be there when we need them.
