Would giraffes dominate wildlife if animals only fought one against one?

Update:

Ray: "Having numbers won't help most animals in combat, size is king." I disagree with that. A giraffe surrounded by several lionesses and a lion is usually killed by these animals.

    No. Giraffes are vulnerable to attack by crocodiles and lions when they lower their neck to drink water. Elephants and rhinos can overpower a giraffe.

    Having numbers won't help most animals in combat, size is king. 

    African Bush elephants today, especially the males, could whop any Giraffe 1 vs 1. 

    This is because they're far heavier thus a lot stronger than giraffe's.

    I don't think so.

    Having a really long neck may help giraffes eat leaves from trees, but it is not going to help them in a combat situation with a lion or a tiger.
